Mount Kinabalu – Summit Adventure
Mount Kinabalu Climb & Borneo Highlights (7‑Day Adventure)
Conquer Southeast Asia’s highest granite dome on this fast yet breathtaking 2‑day expedition. Rising above the lush rainforests of Borneo, Mount Kinabalu (Low’s Peak 4,095 m) towers over Kinabalu Park – a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Our concise program blends the thrill of a summit bid with the wildlife and cultural riches of Sabah.
Route: Timpohon Gate → Panalaban (Panalaban / Laban Rata) → Low’s Peak
Duration: 2 Days / 1 Night
Difficulty: Moderate – long stair‑like sections; altitude gain 1 000–1 500 m per day
Accommodation: Mountain huts (Panalaban)
The Timpohon Route is the most direct way to the summit. It follows a well‑maintained path through cloud‑forest to alpine granite slabs, making it ideal for first‑time mountaineers. Permits and licensed guides are mandatory; climber numbers are capped for conservation. Weather is best from March to August.
